UPDATE: Information on Forms Needed Following the February 4, Notification Deadline (for selected works only):

This Young Art year, it is our goal to the make the submission process as easy as possible. As such, we have minimized the information required at the time of submission and will not ask for our usual release forms until after the submission dates (January 7 – 25), following the jurying, and will only need them from those educators whose students' works are ultimately selected for the exhibition. We will ask that these educators do their best to bring completed the required forms (see descriptions of both below) along with the selected works to the Museum on the Selected Work Drop-Off Days: Friday, February 8 and Saturday, February 9; 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.

Student Release Form English / Student Release Form Spanish - a one page form which gives the Museum permission to use professionally photographed images of a student's work in Young Art-related collateral. This form is to be signed by the student's parent/guardian and are available in both English and Spanish.

Educator Release Form - a one page form designed to release the Museum of any liability in the rare event that a work is lost or damaged while in our care. This is a required form for all selected works but only one form is required per educator. Please note: No works can be exhibited at the Museum without it.

The Young Art 2019 Team will include attachments of both of the above forms in a follow up email to be sent out on Monday, February 4 to all educators with selected works. They are provided above for easy downloading and printing for those educators interested in having them before the February 4 follow up date.

We hope that you'll discover the digital submission process to be a fast and convenient method for submitting work this Young Art year!

Sincerely,

The Young Art 2019 Team
